I got the B&N Nook for my birthday this year. I looked at the B&N covers and actually bought one, but was not impressed, but used it b/c I didn't realize I had a choice. One day, I was sitting on an airplane and saw someone using an e-reader with it propped up like an easel. I talked to him about it and came home and immediately purchased the M-Edge Platform Jacket in red. The leather is beautiful, the product holds my Nook securely and I love being able to prop it up on a table or desk. I also bought the M-Edge Illuminator which directs the light onto the reader and doesn't disturb anyone - in a car or sleeping in bed. I love both products!!! -- Nook Cover
Relucant to spend the money but this was money well spent! The leather quality is very good, the color is great, the nook feel very secure in it.

I, too, was hesitant about such a spendy cover, but I wanted one that could accommodate a light. (The bonus to this one is that it can stand up like an easel.) It seems to be very well made - has a very high-end leather goods look and feel. I purchased the M-Edge e-Luminator2 booklight and it is a perfect fit. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would buy it again. -- Very nice.
I love this cover for my nook. The red is a true red and the leather is nice and soft. It is large enough to hold the light I also purchased. The fact that it opens like an easel is perfect. It hold the nook by little straps and is very secure. Great buy for the money! -- Nook Cover
I'm really pleased with the quality of this Nook case. I had been looking around, but didn't care for any of the covers offered thru Barnes & Noble directly. The leather on this cover is really nice and the stitching is well done. I was hesitant to spend this much for a cover, but in this case it was worth the money. I also purchased the eluminator light (which is the same used for the Sony Reader) and it fits well into this case. I prefer the flip-top to the book style case. I find it much more comfortable to hold, and when I'm reading at my desk I can rest the Nook on the desk for easy reading. -- Great case!
