I like the cover, well made. I'm not sure why I chose the cover with card pocket on the left hand side - superfluous I think. But it is heavy, heavier than I thought. But it is luxurious and adds some gravitas to my reading. I purchased my kindle to travel with, and am going to buy another cover or make one myself which is lighter. In Australia the covers such as this one, are over $60.00 - too much. I will make mine out of fabric and cardboard to protect the screen. The neoprene covers are very expensive as well. I should have chosen a cover which will hold the charging cable for traveling, which I will add to my home made one. -- Kindle cover

Today is July 19th 2010. I ordered this on the 15th and recieved it today. I was so happy! I wasn't expecting it unrolled the 26th. Very fast, very happy. So I opened it and immediatly smelled the leather. The inside was so soft. At first before ordering I had a fear if I was to our cards in the slots that it could potentially end up scratching my kindle. Thanks to the deep pockets that's not the case. I ordered the fuschia one. The straps hold my kindle securly in place, no hassel with the clip in ones that I hear so many negative things about. I'm so happy I chose this case. I litterally lost sleep researching for the perfect case for my kindle 2. I couldn't be more happy. Nothing but wonderful reviews on this wonderful product. You can't go wrong. Buy it! I've been looking for a case for my new Kindle for a lot of time. After much research I chose this one (black version). I also bought a flexible silicone case. This case smells like leather - no complains about it. The cover is hard, just the way I wanted it. It helps protect Kindle's delicate screen when you throw it in your bag. The grips will grab your Kindle firmly: the upper ones are rubber bands with leather detail; the others are made of just leather. The dye won't smudge your Kindle like others cases do. The places for cards and papers are nice: just remember not to stuff it a lot because it may touch the device. To close the case, there are nice magnetic straps. The only complaint I can devise is that the transparent ID holder is not so transparent - mine was a little bit opaque, but the case still deserves 5 stars in my opinion. By the way, after playing with this case and the silicone one, I found myself using only the leather case. -- Best Case for the Price

I do not like black - it's boring and a reminder of wet days and funerals!
The availability of a color in a flip case which was internationally exportable made for a quick purchase.

I purchased the fuschia cover, it is of great quality & has a look of class, it holds my kindle securely & the pockets/photo display is great! alot of the more $$$ covers didn't offer this option.
